Q: Running RM without GUI
Dear All,
I have a possibility to run RapidMiner on a cluster/grid computer.
My process does not have to be paralleled, having few cores doing calculations 24-7 would be good enough at this point.
I got Rapidminer.bat that is supposed to do it from the command line, as it has to be run from the command line.
I have to write a job script that will include: -input file (e.g. .ioo I use in my process), -output file (e.g. .csv with the results of a process). I expect to put there my process (XML).
Now, is this possible? To run it from the command line and get the results in my output file (without GUI)?
Thank you all in advance,
Marin

See this thread, specifically the last post where I describe how I got RM working on a cluster.
Here is the link, check the bottom post. ;D

you should take a look at RapidAnalytics, too. Will make 24/7 operations much easier having a server.
