"Rapid miner R extension crash"

so from my previous post I've figured out after much messing around yesterday that my rapid miner was crashing b/c of the R-add in.. after disabling the add-in and restarting rapid miner it has worked no problem since. So the next question, has anyone had the "crash" issue with the R extension and been able to fix it? For those keeping score at home:

C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\ ;
C:\Program Files\R\R-2.12.1\library\rJava\jri\i386;
C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\client;
C:\Program Files\R\R-2.12.1\bin\i386

are all in my Path,

I also have

JAVA_HOME = C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\
R_HOME = C:\Program Files\R\R-2.12.1\bin\i386

if there is anything else i'm not thinking of would love to hear about it and get this extension working.

I was able to get to the R set-up page and even assign the jri.dll in rapid miner to point to that... after that it restart and then crashed from then in the boot up process.
