option for csv (and xls) reader: skip lines before reading in values/names

Hi

seems that there is no option to skip a whole bunch of lines
before reading in variable names/values from csv (or xls) files
and determining number of fields by looking at the line just below
the portion to skip. Maybe one would like to have a look at:

Does such an option exist, and do i just have overlooked it?
If not, I would really regard it as very desireable,
at least for the respective configuration wizard.
