Hi all again,

I have created a RapidMiner project which i use ''Read Document'' operator and some others.I have built java code in order to run the this project.As result i take these errors:

When i delete the operator ''Read Document'' the project in java runs correctly.Does anuone know wheere i can find the problem??

    Hi,

    RapidMiner cannot find the TextProcessing extension and therefore replaces the Read Document operator with the dummy operator. Make sure to include the TextProcessing extension in your project.

    hi,

    When i use the read document procces in a java application i have the problem:

    WARNING: Caught exception in concurrent execution of Read Document (Read Document): java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1
    java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1.

    I change the encoding to ansi,utf-8 but  nothing.

    Any suggestions??

    Hi,

    do you have by chance selected "parallelize main process"? It looks like the Parallelize Processing extension has a problem there. You might want to try it without any parallelization to see if it works.
    Apart from that, please post the full stack trace here.
