Hello,
I'm getting the following error when I try to install RapidAnalytics using RapidAnalytics installer on Win 7:

Feb 10, 2012 11:22:43 PM com.rapidanalytics.installer.gui.ProgressDialog update
SEVERE: An error occured! Installation failed!
java.lang.RuntimeException: The Installer data files are missing!
       at com.rapidanalytics.installer.install.RapidAnalyticsInstallerRunnable.run(Unknown Source)
       at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.runTask(Unknown Source)
       at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(Unknown Source)
       at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

My environment:  Win 7, MySQL 5.5, IIS 7, Java 1.6, RapidMiner 5.

Any idea why I'm getting this error? and how to fix it?

Thanks,
Mazda

    Hi,

after unzipping the downloaded archive, do you have a data folder? Is it non-empty? How do you run the installer?

    Hi Simon,
As soon as you mentioned how I was unzipping I checked the archive and realized the directory structure. So, I unzipped the archive with x option to retain the directory structure with data and jdbs subdirectories) and the installer worked.  Thank you so much for the hint.

    Regards,
