Nullpointer occurs using the Stream Database operator
Hello
I want to use the Stream Database operator and get the following Error-log
Mar 21, 2012 12:04:54 AM CONFIG: Connecting to jdbc:postgresql://localhost:5432/postgres as postgres.
Mar 21, 2012 12:04:54 AM SEVERE: Process failed: operator cannot be executed. Check the log messages...
Mar 21, 2012 12:04:54 AM SEVERE: Here: Process[1] (Process)
subprocess 'Main Process'
==> +- Stream Database[1] (Stream Database)
Mar 21, 2012 12:04:54 AM SEVERE: java.lang.NullPointerException
Working on a 64bit-machine with Linux and 64bit JDK 1,6
No clue about the RapidMiner-architekture i use. its the "Other systems"-version.
At work - using Win7 i get same error.
Sometimes the error only appears wile using rapidminer on the Database - host (using the local database)
the Read Database operator works without any error
Any ideas?

which version of RapidMiner are you using? You'll find the version in the Help menu under About RapidMiner. If it is less than 5.2.002 please update to the latest version.
Do you get an error message popup with a submit bugreport? If the error is not fixed in the latest version, please use that button to submit the bug. That way we get important additional information about the error which will help us to fix it.
All the best,
Marius
