[Solved] Optimize Selection parameters

Hi,
I have a question concerning the "Optimize Selection (Evolutionary)" Operator. About the "p mutation" parameter to be more specific. This is what it says in the help window:
Probability for an attribute to be changed (-1:1 / numberOfAtt). Range: real; -1.0-1.0
Im not sure about the value of these. What does it mean to have a negative probability in this case?

Thanks
Kai

Excuse my shameless bump. But I've already asked around and nobody seems to know exactly what this parameter does. So before I start digging through the source code I'd really appreciate some input  ;D

    Hello Kai,

if the probability is set to the special value -1 (actually any negative value), then the parameter is internally set to 1 devided by the number of attributes. I admit that the colon in the formula is not that easy to read; I adjusted it for readability in the next version.

    Best,
