Hi everybody,
I downloaded and installed Rapidnet. I can see the "community" example but I can't use the tool. I have some questions:

1) Where can I find English documentation ?
2) How do I connect RapidNet to a database? And, can I use PostgreSQL db?
3) I understand that to use Rapidnet I must first create a  RapidMiner flow, is that right? Do I have to use a particular  RapidMiner plugin?

Thanks in advance

regards,
ticemba

    Hi,

RapidNet as you can download it from the our website is more a demo instance than a full version of this product. It is basically a client which connects to a RapidNet server to fetch the data to display it as a network for demonstration. Since RapidNet is not an open source product we do not provide any public documentation and the only way to reconfigure it is via the configuration.xml file described in this posting. If you are interested in this product, feel free to contact us (see www.rapid-i.com).

    Best regards

    Hi,
    thanks for the reply.
Is the db, on which Rapidnet demo was built , open source? If yes, where can I download it?

    Thank you very much

As far as I know it is not open source. But you can use the contact mail address to get more information about the product.
