Unable to update. Possible proxy misconfiguration
Hello and, first of all, my apologies if this question was already solved. I have tried to look for it but didn't find the exact solution to my problem.
I am interested in installing the Text Extension for Rapidminer but the updater is unable to connect to the Internet, as it is Rapidminer itself (I can't see the news at the welcome page). When I copy the update url into the browser (http://rapidupdate.de:80/UpdateServer) I get redirected to the Rapid-I Market Place.
I am used to connecting to the Internet via an http proxy, and usually I an required the proxy server, the port, my username and my password. I have tried to configure this at the Rapidminer settings, but also failed.
Any help is gratefully recieved. Greetings.

did you configure proxyHost, proxyPort, proxyUsername and proxyPassword for both http and https? Did you activate the corresponding proxySet checkmarks?
If RapidMiner still can't connect to the internet, you can also download the text extension manually from the marketplace. The jar file should be placed into the lib/plugins folder of your RapidMiner installation (usually under c:\program files\rapid-i\rapidminer5)
That way, however, RapidMiner won't be able to update the extension automatically via the update server.
Best regards,
