PCA output help

Hello!
I am only familiar with running Factor Analysis using PCA in SPSS. I am wondering if it's possible in RM to get an output similar to a Pattern Matrix, that shows which items load best together. I am unsure of how to read the (what I'm assuming is a) Co-variance Matrix in a similar way? Ultimately I'm trying to decide which items of a survey to remove and which to keep. I can see the cumulative variance of each PC, but beyond that I'm a little confused.
