How Change Memory Setting for RapidMiner 6 on Mac
Good morning.
How and where to do change the max memory setting for RapidMiner Starter v6 running on Mac OSX 10.9.4?
Following instructions in the ReadMe file accompanying the download, I've searched for these files but cannot find them anywhere.
RAPID_MINER_HOME/rapidminer-studio-settings.cfg
~/.RapidMiner/rapidminer-studio-settings.cfg
rapidminer-studio-settings.cfg
Note that I am running Java 7 and confirmed.
Thanks for any help.

you cannot. While there will be a setting to reduce the maximum amount of memory used once the next update is released, the maximum amount of memory available for v6 is determined by the license you have installed, i.e. 1GB for the Starter license. More memory is only available as part of bigger licenses.
Also the files you mentioned are only created after actually launching RapidMiner Studio for the first time.
