Hi,
I use Rapid Miner 5.3.15 with Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS. On installation of extensions in RM, the extensions go into "/home/<USER>/.RapidMiner5". I have installed RM in /opt/RapidMiner.
I wish to install the extensions in /opt/RapidMiner and keep my /home/<USER> free from all these files. Is it possible to do such a thing?
Thank You

in your canse you can copy plugins to /opt/RapidMiner/lib/plugins. However you will need to manually delete them afterwards because Studio looks for them in the .RapidMiner folder.
Also note that the .RapidMiner folder is used to store settings of all sorts and is automatically created on startup. There is no way in Studio to prevent that.
