Unable to using rapid miner through command line

Hi

I am trying to acees rapidminer through command line in the operating systems ubuntu and vista both.I have set the
CLASSPATH environment variable in vista to scripts directory and was trying to run the command rapidminer Empty.xml
but it did'nt work .In ubuntu I am trying to run the script in terminal from my home account.
  Plz let me tell what is the method if I was wrong.

    You do not have to set the CLASSPATH (which is for Java only) but the PATH variable to the scripts directory.
