Reading SPSS .sav files

Hi,

I'm trying to read spss .sav files but I get an error message all the time telling me "wrong byte length" using Rapid Miner 7.1.0.0.1 with Academia License on MacOSX 10.11.5. I've tryed to put the file to be imported on the desktop (instead of the far end of a long branch of subdirectories) and to my user directory but I got the same. What can be a solution?

Thank you in advance!

    Hi,

I would suggest to try to save the file in SPSS in an older SPSS file format. May be RapidMiner's operator is not uptodate according to latest SPSS changes.

    Greetings,

      Sebastian

Same thing here. Could it be a language related thing? (Hungarian characters in the sav file.)
