where do I get field names from operators?

in addition to my previous post, where do I get field names from different operators?
like for example, I want to extract the attribute values from the forward selection operator inside a grid search optimization after having found out the best parameters, and use them in the set parameters operator or inside a set macro operator , like ${feature_names}, but how do I know how they are called? its in no documentary 
I see it when I use the log operator, but not much helpful I'm not sure if thats the right name to use...
is there any more documentation? Rapidminer is a nice tool, but pretty limited if I cannot do such advanced stuff...
