how can I install extensions, especially text processing. (RapidMiner Version 5.3)

Hi All,

 

I'm using the Rapid Miner Version 5.3 and I would like to install the Extension for Text Processing.

 

How does that work?

    I don't think the latest version of the extensions work with v5.3. I would upgrade to 7.3 and then use the autodownload via the pull down menu.

    If I instal version 7, will then the version 5.3 automatically be overwritten or can I use two versions parallel?

    I'm not sure, it's been a long time since I had v5.3 on my machine. I think the structure of where extensions and processes are stored changed somewhere after v5.3.
