How to compare a column among two excel file and find out which one is new, change or deleted?

    My first thought is to use the Set Minus operator and subtract out one file from the other.

    If you are looking at comparing values in one column to itself, you can look at the lag operator from the series extension.  If you are looking to compare two separate columns for the same examples, then use Generate Attributes to calculate the difference.  And if you are looking to compare whether the examples are the same, then use a Join (or Set Minus like Tom originally recommended).
