I noticed the article on connecting to Teradata data with "manage connections": http://community.rapidminer.com/t5/RapidMiner-Studio-Knowledge-Base/How-to-Connect-a-Teradata-Database-to-Studio/ta-p/32035

Is there a specific driver integration setup for Teradata Aster?

    Hi @CraigBostonUSA,

Please test the following steps to configure the connection to Aster DB.

    1. From info.teradata.com/download.cfm?ItemID=1006430

We have to get the Aster Database JDBC driver, not the Teradata jdbc driver

    1. If you are using Rapidminer studio on windows, here is the link for AsterJDBC__indep_indep.xx.xx.xx.xx.zip

    http://downloads.teradata.com/download/aster/aster-client-tools-for-windows

    step2.png

    1. We can try to “Mange Database Drivers” inside rapidminer studio

    step3.png

    1. Verify if the aster driver is available and create a new DB connection with your host server IP address, user name, password

     Cheers,
