Discretization: Quartiles, Quintiles, Deciles, and Percentiles - How To


Quartiles, Quintiles, Deciles, and Percentiles are a subset of the subject of discretization.
When you want to break your data into any of the above, there is no need for a bespoke operator; you can use Discretize by Frequency as follows:
And then select the number of bins as 4 for Quartiles, 5 for Quintiles, 10 for Deciles and 100 for Percentiles.
