Cannot connect to rapidminer-server

Yesterday I was connecting to server. Today it is not connecting.

(I can connect to the cloud)

    Solution Accepted

    If you are running Windows and have it installed as a Windows Service, open up your Windows Task Manager, navigate to Services, and scroll down till you find the RapidMiner Server entry. Then right click and start. It can take a few minutes before you can access localhost:8080

    Is your local server running at localhost:8080? If your window service doesn't automatically restart it when you shutdown, then you have to manually start it.
