Hi,
We're switching our RDBMS and servers. What is the best way to back up my server (data and processes), so I can then install it on the new server. If there is a how to guide, I couldn't find it.
Thanks,
Rachel

Yip, this is the best way. I did this a couple of times myself. Best is to make a fresh installation of RM Server at the same time although it is actually possible to change the configuration scripts of an existing installation as well (but is much more complex).
Cheers,
Ingo

Yes, that is the typical process. Good luck!
