Ranking examples relative to others

I'm trying to create a ranking for examples (rows) in a data set. This ranking should be relative to the other examples (rows) in the dataset.

I did the following:

1) Set roles for the ID and label attribute ("Set Role" feature)

2) Discretized the examples by binning ("Dicretize by Binning" feature)

3) Generated weights for each example ("Generate Weight (Stratification)")

Am I on the right track?

Maybe, I don't know what your data is but if attribute weighting is what you want, the Generate Weight (Stratification) is a great operator.
