"Time of text classification"

Dear friends
I am using Rapidminer to classify 1000 texts. I took the model which came with the samples to evalute performance. The problem is that it took very long time to finish the process. It took about 20 hours .
Is there any solution or can i use several computers connected togather to do the process.
Thanks
Regards

which learner are you using? Are you using a sparse representation of your data set? If not, that is probably the problem.
