k-Means - output iteration count

It would be helpful to see the reason why k-Means algorithm terminates, i.e. if it stops because there are no more changes or if the iteration limit has been reached. Then one would know wether increasing the number of maximum iterations could improve clustering.
A log entry would be appropriate (or perhaps several single entries for each run (each containing the current iteration count)).
