Regular Discriminant Analysis....missing alpha parameter in version 8

I am converting some older scripts to version 8 and the strength parameter seems to be missing in RDA. In older versions of Rapidminer, the default was 0.5.

I have updated my last post with a specific case using sliding windows validations that gives the "matrix is singular" error. I saw from and old  post dating back to 2009 that suggests that the error is data specific. All I know for sure is that I have a process that used to work in early version 7 editions that fails in version 8. It has been a while since I tried to run this process.

Kind regards,

Alex

Sorry...it seems to be working again. RDA is showing the alpha. Not sure what happened.
