Hi there,

I see that these methods are now deprecated in 5.0, has anybody got any tips on how they have been replaced?

All help gratefully received!

    Hi,
these methods aren't needed anymore, because you now have to specify explicitly your input and output ports. Using the meta data transformations and preconditions, you can ensure, that the user gets errors, if he connects wrong ports.
We will publish a comprehensive guide for developing with RapidMiner 5 together with the final version.

    Greetings,
      Sebastian
