Read Excel - imported cell range - just one column

Hello,

I have a large Excel document and want to do text mining with one of the columns. So I use Read Excel for it and now I want to set the imported cell range for let's say the column 'E'. I know it sounds stupid but I don't know how to do this.

I tried the 'E:E' Version I know from Excel VBA but that does not work. For sure I could write for example 'E1:E10' but my Table is going to get more entrys and I do not want to correct it all the time.

So is there a possibility to import just one column?

Thank you

Imke

    Hi,

interesting. In the Import Wizard it does work.

    Please try: E1:E10485776

It seems to automatically prune it to the max rows.

    Hi,

    E:E should do it.

    Hello Martin,

I'sorry but it does not. I am getting this text and I don't know why because I wrote E:E as you can see on the right.
