LARGE CAVEAT THAT THIS HAS NOT BEEN VETTED BY OUR LEGAL TEAM AND HENCE IS MY UNDERSTANDING AND INTERPRETATION OF THE EULA AND USAGE POLICY WRITTEN AS OF THIS DATE JAN 14, 2018.
There are a few key phrases here:[from EULA] 1.6 "Field of Use" shall mean any geographic, subject matter, or other field-of-use limitation established by the Usage Policy or the applicable Order[from EULA] 2.1 License Grant. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, RapidMiner hereby grants to Licensee, during the applicable License Term, a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right and license to (a) execute the Software within the Field of Use, solely for Licensee's internal use and (b) make a reasonable number of copies of the Software solely for non-productive, archival purposes.
[from Usage Policy] 1.7 “Licensee” shall mean the person or entity who has licensed the Software from RapidMiner.[from Usage Policy] 1.9 “Named User” shall mean a single, designated natural person who is either (a) an employee of Licensee or (b) the Licensee.[from Usage Policy] 1.15 “RapidMiner Studio” shall mean the configuration of the Software that is intended for use by a single user on a desktop computer system or a virtual desktop infrastructure, mainly in order to design and execute analytics processes and inspect their results.[from Usage Policy] Each instance of RapidMiner Studio must only be used by a single Named User on a physical or virtual desktop, and shall not be automatically invoked or executed using any other program or software (like a scheduling system) to run processes, generate outputs or operate in any other manner. The RapidMiner Command Line Interface can be used by a user to manually run the program, but it must not be automatically initiated.SO if you read this carefully, I would say that if a single user has exclusive use to two physical (or virtual) desktop computers (for example one at home and one at work), then it it would be acceptable for one RM license to be used on both of these machines. The license is tied to the USER, not the machine: "RapidMiner hereby grants...a right and license to execute the Software within the Field of Use, solely for the Licensee's internal use."

From what I read in the below post, it states that only one installation is allowed per license.
