By default all user data (and license) is stored in Windows in C:\User\[user]\.RapidMiner. This is not a suitable location in all circumstances. Is there a way to change that location?
For instance is there a way to set another properties file 'Program Files\RapidMiner\RapidMiner Studio\conf' with a setting to point to a different drive/location?
(Background: cluster install in a lab there users have a mounted network 'home' drive, but the c:\user\[user] gets wiped every day)

Hi,
It is possible to change the location. The location of the .RapidMiner folder is chosen the following way:- [Since 9.1] Checking if the system property "rapidminer.user-home" is found. If it is, that location is chosen. To pass a system property to Studio, you can make sure that the startup command contains -Drapidminer.user-home=C:/xyz".
- If 1) is not found, we are using the system property "user.home". That is defined by Java and the location on Windows is chosen based on the home folder setting of the OS for that user.
