I have to describe a patient population for publication purpose. I usually make a table with each characteristic (Age, gender, hypertension ...) these characteristics are of a different type. How can I make a nice table representing mean standard deviation, number and percentage to put in an article?

To complement the excellent and concise answer by @varunm1: the Extract Statistics operator is not part of the RapidMiner Studio set of extensions, but it can be found in the Operator Toolbox extension, you can get it from the extension marketplace.
Also, the operator to generate an Excel sheet is Write Excel.
All the best,

If you are looking to extract statistics, there is an operator called "Extract Statistics" you can use that for getting all the statistics you are looking for. After this operator, you can attach Write CSV to get this in an excel sheet and then you can use it in your paper.
If you need more information please comment here.
