How to add the data source from RM studio with a Grafana Instance?

Hi,
As exercise, I would like to find the best way to use Grafana https://grafana.com/grafana/ and RM studio. As far as I understand from this thesis (attachment) one needs RM server to use Grafana. Off course Studio could export the results in a format that is accepted by Gafana, but I am looking for a shortcut.
In general, what are the experiences with the Grafana viz tool and with the use together with RM?
