RapidMiner 9.6.0 crashes when I try to load it

mpenampena Member Posts: 3 Learner I
I used to have an earlier version of RapidMiner (9.0 i believe) that I have since upgraded for academic purposes. Every time I load the application, it crashes with the following message:

Java count not be launched. Errorcode:1

I have ran RapidMiner Studio.bat and got the following message:

#

This is the 64-bit installation of RapidMiner 9.6.0 on a 64-bit Windows 8.1 OS machine with 8GB of RAM.

    I figured it out.

    # Problematic frame:
    # C  [ssojho64.dll+0x11466]

There was Oracle Single Sign On conflict during the launch process. By disabling Single Sign On, I was able to successfully launch the application. In case anyone with the same issue finds this post, all running instances of Single Sign On must be stopped. Pausing the program will still allow this error to occur.

    Hello,

Can you send us this file? C:\WINDOWS\system32\hs_err_pid9660.log

It was created as a core dump of what is wrong.

    Thanks in advance,

    Rod.
