Declare missing values operator does not seem to work with variables that are type polynominal?

Hi
I am wanting to know why the RapidMiner Declare missing values operator does not seem work correctly in flagging specific values (such as in the data set I am working which lists missing values as NA) as missing values for variables that are type polynominal.  It seem consider all possible values for a polynominal variable being ok because these are text categories etc
Any help or advice on the above would be much appreciated
Best regards Michael

    Hi Michael,

please copy the the "NA" value from the Result view, then go back to the Design view, select mode "nominal" for the Declare Missing Value operator and paste the previous copied value into the "nominal value" parameter.

    Greetings,
    Jonas
