Cannot load Rapidminer Studio without disabling extensions
Hi Support,
When I start up Rapidminer Studio, the splash screen hangs at "initializing operators" for a while and then the window dissapears with no sign of rapidminer anywhere. Then, when I start the program again, the safe mode pop up appears with the message "The last startup of RapidMiner Studio was interrupted or did not complete correctly. Do you want to enter safe mode? All extensions are disabled in safe mode. If i click "disable extensions", the program completes the load, with some missing functionalities.
Troubleshooting done:
1.Rebooted laptop multiple times.
2.I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program,
3. uninstalled java on my machine and tried again.
How do i get it to load with all the necessary functionalities in the normal mode?

Or you could look at the same .Rapidminer folder -> managed and start with a subset of the operators (all rmx_* ones) to see which one causes the issue.
To be fair, the easiest thing to try in this case might be a reinstall. It doesn't have any impact at all on your processes since upgrades don't touch your resource folders so it's a very safe way to fix things, and maybe in this case also the fastest...
Close RM, go to the installation folder (for instance C:/program files/rapidminer), not sure about actual location... There you will find the uninstall program, just run it and reinstall. As mentioned it will not touch your processes but if you want to feel safe make a backup of your ~user/.Rapidminer folder.
Never saw something like this before (and trust me, I had my share of scr#w ups also...)
By any chance is it RapidMiner Studio 9.7? Also, what browsers do you have installed? Because RapidMiner Studio is asking for a renderer for HTML5 charts. I remember there was a rendering issue if you didn't have Google Chrome in previous versions of RM.
I may be wrong, though.
RapidMiner Studio Educational 9.8.001
java version "1.8.0_281"
I have multiple browsers installed Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Opera
The only way I can get the program to start up and run is by going to "settings ->preferences->startup- > and uncheck "initialize extensions" or by disabling extensions while starting up in 'safe mode'.
But then, some of the installed "extensions", "operators" like smote dont load up even if the relevant extensions are installed and other UI elements don't load up and so I don't have all the functionalities available
