Hi,

I'm trying to do some basic statistics on my examples before applying any model.
What is the best way to do so ?

Thanks.

    Hi,

the easiest way to get an overview of your examples is to simply load in an example set and have a look at the meta data (choose meta data view). The meta data shows some very basic statistics for each of the attributes, i.e. the mode for nominal and the mean and standard deviation for numerical attributes. Additionally, the number of value occurances is display for nominal attributes as well as the range (min and max value) for numerical ones.

There are also numerous plotting facilities which you can use by selecting the plot view of an example set.

    Regards,
    Tobias
