How to create Gmail IMAP email retrieval connection?

My requirement is to make connection with my gmail to retrieve my email to do sentimental analysis but i am unable to make the connection. Could you please let me know how to make the valid connection?

For a normal IMAP connection you need the server name, the server port, the protocol (TLS or STARTTLS), a user name and a password.
However, some providers like GMail and Office365 switched to OAuth which requires an interactive login in a browser, often with a two-factor authentication.
Please check the settings in the GMail account. Try connecting with a different email client (mutt, Thunderbird, ...).
RapidMiner only supports the classical username/password authentication.
