Format of data understandable to Rapidminer
Hello all,
I am new and i want know how i make my data recogniable to Rapidminer?
I have extracted features but i dont know how Rapidminer will catagorize classes (should it be in alphabetic or numeric format)?
should it be in xls file? or simple txt file?

And welcome! Before you take another step start working through the examples provided. This forum, especially at the moment, is full of posts from people who think they can guess how Rapidminer works, wrongly. So save yourself time, and work through the samples!
Open RM, press on "Repositories" tab, select a process, drag and drop in process tab. Also try the tutorial in the help section.
View->Show-> Repositories
I have data which i want to insert in RM for feature selection.
but how RM will recognize if insert in xls format with only name states Classes etc
maybe RM will mix all the things
One more question is.
If i make an excel file and define class and attributes then how would RM understand which is class and which is attribute?
