    Hi Enrique,

    this looks like an issue of the application launcher. Could you try to start the application using the start script "RapidMiner-Studio.bat" in the program folder (C:\Program Files\RapidMiner\RapidMiner Studio)?

    In order to investigate the issue it would be great to have the launcher.log and rapidminer-studio.log. Those files can be found in your user home directory inside “.RapidMiner”.

    Not sure if you solved your problem or not, but this caught my eye:

    We don't officially support Java 8 with RM Studio 6.X. You'll have to go wth Java 7.
