MetaCost
Hi
This may seem a pretty basic question but as a newbie I'd just lke to make sure. I want to apply the MetaCost operator to a binary classification and have no problem with process setup and the like. My question is how do I determine how the class labels in the cost matrix relate to my binary labels. My labels are N / L. Is Class 1 per the cost matrix simply the first label in the example set?
Is the same principle applied should there be more than 2 labels?
Thanks for your help.

the numbering of the different label values used for meta cost is the same as the order of possible values in the "range" column of the corresponding meta data view.
