unable to open gui under CENTOS

Hi,
I am trying to run rapidminer version rapidminer-5.0.008 on a CENTOS machine (release 4.5).
I am using this java version

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_21-b06)
Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 17.0-b16, mixed mode)

I run the rapidminer gui script and it doesnt progress after these messages.

Any advice on what could be wrong ? I havent used java before so i am not sure where to start debugging.

    Hi bharathseshadri10,

    could you try another java application in order to see if its a problem of RapidMiner or just java in general.

    Thanks. I found it was due to some weirdness in KDE. It works fine under gnome now.
