RapidProM error while importing event log MacOS

While importing an event log the Results window shows up but flags an error  Error executing background job 'Calculating result: xlog..' though the results show up but the lay outing is incorrect. I have installed Rapidminer on an external disk in MacOS (catalina)

    Solution Accepted
    After digging a bit more I find that the issue is with the XES log that has some issues and not with the installation of RapidminerProM or RapidMiner.

    Thanks. My question is not about the plugin. Its about the error and a fix for it.
